Partner | Construction Lawyer
Mike Gray is a construction attorney and mediator with over 28 years of experience, and a partner in the San Luis Obispo office of Plumtree & Brunner, LLP. He is also on the board of directors of the Builders Exchange of the Central Coast Builders. For decades, Mike has dedicated his career exclusively to representing contractors, homebuilders, and construction professionals.
Mike is passionate about representing contractors because he understands the practical and financial challenges they face in a highly regulated and dispute-prone industry. His practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex construction issues efficiently, with an emphasis on protecting their businesses and minimizing risk.
His strengths include deep industry knowledge, strategic risk management, and extensive experience in construction contracts and litigation, claims resolution, and risk analysis. Mike brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to every matter, shaped by decades of working closely with construction professionals.
A native of San Luis Obispo, Mike enjoys being part of the Central Coast community and staying actively involved in the local construction industry. Outside of his practice, Mike enjoys the gym, good books, fantasy football and spending time outdoors with his dogs, Oliver and Rose.
